Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre catches baseball fever as Damn Yankees hits the stage. This all American musical plays February 22 through April 14, 2007.
Based on the novel
The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant by Douglass Wallop, Damn Yankees is written by George Abbott with lyrics
and music by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross. The musical tells the story of a desperate
baseball fan who sells his soul to the devil to become the star player of his favorite team to help lead them to a victory
over the New York Yankees. Damn Yankees is proclaimed as the first successful
sports musical comedy. It attained ten Tony Awards in 1956, including Best Musical.

BROADWAY PALM ANNOUNCES 2007 SPRING AUDITIONS FOR CHILDREN!
Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is holding open auditions for children ages 7 - 12 on Sunday, April 29, 2007. This is a
casting call for the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (playing June 14 - August 11,
2007). Broadway Palm will cast 12 boys and 12 girls based on singing, stage presence, basic movement and height.
Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 2007. Auditions will begin at 1:00 p.m. Auditions are on a first-come,
first-served basis. A sign up sheet will be available at 12:15 p.m.
Anyone
interested must be available for rehearsals June 1 through June 13, 2007 and all performances. Shows are Wednesday through
Sunday evenings with selected matinees on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. Any children cast will perform in
three to five shows per week.
Auditions will be held at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, 1380
